Britney
we’ve been best friends for twenty years. Heck. And since we took our first hour-long comedy show, also called Britney, to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016, we’ve been working together too.*
We’ve had our sketches on BBC2’s ‘Festival of Funny’ and C4’s online ‘The Paddock’, and we’re currently writing TV and Film which is our absolute dream. We have projects in development with Gloria Sanchez, Working Title, Broadway Video, Belletrist and Funny or Die.
Britney (2016)
Our debut show! Britney was a sketch show about our young lives in the immediate aftermath of Charly’s diagnosis of a brain tumour that year(she’s fine now don’t worry) in which we played every conceivable character in the story including but not limited to: the surgeon, our parents, a stuffed dog, Harry Potter, the brain tumour itself, a detective, Gary Lineker and even occasionally ourselves! Much to our surprise we sold out most of our run and eventually took the show to Soho Theatre and even more eventually turned the show into a pilot for the BBC.
John (2017)
Ah, the sloppy second album. John was our worst show by far but also the one with the most potential. It was a film clip retrospective of a documentary we never made. It’s another true story about us but this time one from our teen years where we travelled across America to interview men with the name John Hancock in order to answer the question (that nobody asked) ‘is there such a thing as the average American man?’ and make a documentary (that nobody commissioned) to show our findings. ‘John’ was a sketch show/travel blog which was too ambitious to work, but Jonno from Sheeps said it was his favourite show that year!
Friends and Nothing More (2022)
Our biggest hit! Our third and, we think, funniest show! A sketch show all about, yep you guessed it, us! A show all about our lifelong friendship and how nice it would be if everyone fancied us. The show opened with a song and closed with a standing ovation (that we wrote into the show for the audience to do). This sketch show featured the most props we have ever used and a projector so… yeah, we’re moving up in the world. This show was a sell out in Edinburgh and London and led to big things. Ellen got a girlfriend out of it and Charly broke her rib. Twice!
Our next show (2025)

Our live shows are produced by country mile productions
*We actually first worked together in 2011 when we wrote a parody of Finding Nemo called ‘Finding Emo’ for our school and sadly it’s the best thing we’ve ever done.
